The owner and chef , Samuel Samerson was born in Ethiopia. But he fled this homeland after the tragedy. Then he emigrated to in New-York where he became a chef at the Aquavit Restaurant. 6 years later after the attacks of 11 september 2001 he decided to help the people of New York City and changed this professional life.
After this tragedy he decided to open a restaurant the Redrooster. He was inspired by the culture of Afro-American's and 7 years later he became a star in New-York thanks of a tv show in a program called Top-Chef and he cook the president of United States' first state dinner.
